The UNSW Young Women in Engineering (WIE) Pathway Program is an alternate pathway for high school students* in Year 11 and 12 who will be applying for an eligible engineering degree at UNSW Sydney and expecting an ATAR within the Faculty of Engineering Admissions Scheme (FEAS) eligibility** range.
If you're a student who wants to make a difference in the world, has an interest in helping others and would love to learn how engineering can make an impact, then this program is for you!
The 2025 UNSW Young WIE Pathway Program is NOW OPEN for registrations for students in Year 11 and 12 (school year 2025).
If you're a student in Years 7 to 10 (school year 2024) you can still register for the program. However, you will not be able to commence the program until you are in Year 11. You will be alerted by email when you become eligible for the program.
Please note you must be a member of the UNSW Young WIE Club to participate in the UNSW Young WIE Pathway Program and you haven't previously participated in the GIE FEAS Program challenges.
Please register for this program using a personal Google account (e.g. one that ends with @gmail.com), not a Google account provided by your school.
*Inclusive of young women, non-binary and gender diverse students.
**ATAR eligibility range applies: Most FEAS degrees require a minimum ATAR of 83.00.
